Pond View Farm has been the ideal scenic setting for various occasions.
No two events at Pond View Farm have ever been the same. We invite you to make our home yours for the day and plan a unique event.

Pond View Farm has been the ideal scenic setting for a wide variety of occasions. The farm has hosted corporate meetings and retreats, bridal & baby showers, anniversary, birthday, graduation & retirement parties, reunions and concerts. But, notably, Pond View Farm is a perfect setting for farm weddings. If you’re planning your wedding and looking for a rural, farm wedding – Pond View Farm is the perfect venue.

All events at Pond View Farm feature:

Grounds:
  • Rustic farm setting
  • Facility available for large outdoor events
  • Lawn can accommodate tent seating for up to 300 guests
  • Lush green lawn areas for wedding ceremonies, rustic wooden arbor available
  • Stone steps make a grand bridal entrance to the lower yard
  • Pond with lighted fountain is stocked and available for fishing
  • On site parking for 200 cars
House:
  • The first level of our remodeled two story farmhouse is available for bridal party preparations. The house features an open floor plan and  opens onto the lower porch overlooking the event space.
  • House features include: central air conditioning, 1 restroom, large kitchen, stone fireplace and  fully furnished rooms.
Barn:
  • Rustic 48′ x 98′ x 12′ all wood exposed, post and beam barn
  • Electrical outlets and lighting
  • Many windows and 5 large sliding doors for air flow and easy access to the farm scenic views
  • Maximum seating capacity with a buffet line is 250
Pavilion:
  • 30′ x 60′ pavilion seats 75 guests at round tables comfortably and accommodates standing room for 200 guests
  • Finished ceiling with lighting, concrete floor, with speakers and electrical outlets located throughout
  • Adjacent to the pavilion is a large stone bar and bathrooms
  • Bar area includes sink, 2 refrigerators, commercial ice maker, microwave, TV with Direct TV access and DVD player, stereo with iPod hookup
  • 2 Bathrooms, private men’s and women’s, large sink and vanity, air conditioned.
Other:
  • Round and rectangle tables, white resin chairs, and  table cloths are included in the rental fee.
  • On site catering available through Pond View Pit Crew
  • On site staff to oversee the facility during your event
  • For wedding rentals, 1 hr rehearsals may be booked Monday thru Thursday, at no extra charge

Events Frequently Asked Questions:

  • What size are the tables and how many do they seat?
    The sweetheart table is a 24” round table and seats two.
    The round tables are 60” and seat 8 people comfortably.
    The rectangle tables are 6′ and 4′.
  • Who sets up the tables and the chairs?
    We will have all the tables and chairs set up for you when you arrive the day of your event. It is you responsibility to put tablecloths on and decorate. You are welcome to rearrange tables and chairs to fit your layout plans.
  • When can we set up?
    You have the farm from 6 am to 11 pm the day of your event. You may set up as early as 6 am. Please let us know when to expect you so we can have everything set out for you.
  • When do we have to clean up?
    Your event must end no later than 10 pm. All of your personal belongings must leave the premises at the conclusion of your event. Everyone in your party needs to vacate the farm by 11pm. We will take care of disposing of trash and taking down tables and chairs.
  • When will the farmhouse be open for the bridal party?
    The farm house will be open at 6am. It will be locked 2 hours after the reception, please have all of your personal belongings out by then.
  • What if it rains?
    The ceremony can be moved to be held under the pavilion or in the barn.
  • How do the chairs get moved from the ceremony to the reception site?
    The DJ usually announces at the end of the ceremony for each guest to please take their chair with them to their seat. We also have had a few weddings where the groomsmen have carried 2-4 chairs at a time to the tent and placed at the tables for guests. The farm representative can assist in making sure each table has enough chairs.
    If you would like us to move all the chairs from the ceremony site to the reception site there is a extra fee of $100.
    If you would like us to set up chairs before your ceremony at both the reception and the ceremony site there is a extra fee of $200.
  • What is the role of the farm representative the day of our event?
    The farm representative on duty will assist with parking cars, take out trash, keep the bathrooms tidy and stocked and be on hand to answer any of your questions or any of your vendors questions.
  • Where do we park?
    Please park in the meadow. If you are driving down Jolly Acres Road and the farm is on your right you will come to a white fence with a red gate. Please enter through the red gate and follow the gravel lane through the meadow and take a left around the side of the house. Please begin parking all the way down closest to the pond and access the yard through the red gate. The ceremony and reception site will be directly in front of you and will only be a short walking distance away.
  • Is there handicap parking?
    Yes, we do have a few handicap spaces close to the pavilion. To access these spaces please drive past the meadow and the house entrance and enter by the barns at the bottom of the hill. Please drive in-between the two red barns and this will bring you out to the event area. There are 3 handicap spaces to the right of the pavilion and you may also park in front of the barns if needed.
  • Are the lawn and parking area lit at night?
    Yes, the lawn and meadow is dimly lit by the house flood lights. It is enough light for finding your car or for playing corn hole in the yard.

Catering Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Can we use an outside caterer?
    No, outside caterers are not permitted at Pond View Farm. We are happy to offer you catering services through our Pond View Pit Crew.
  • Do you supply bar tending services?
    No, we do not. You must provide your own alcohol and other bar tending supplies (cups, napkins, mixers, etc). Most people know someone who will play bartender for the evening a few have hired a bartender, please see our recommended vendor page if you need a reference.
    We do have refrigerators you may use to chill your alcohol and we do have a large ice maker that you may use. If the weather is hot please plan on bringing extra ice as the ice maker may not be able to keep up with your consumption.
  • For weddings, do you provide plates, napkins and utensils for dessert?
    Yes, we will gladly cut and serve your wedding cake and provide plates, napkins and utensils.
  • Do you ever take special menu requests?
    Yes, we have done special menu requests in the past. If you are looking for something not on our menu, please ask!
